CMOP partners with Saturday Academy to offer an 8-week summer internships through the Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) Program.

The 2014 ASE summer positons will be posted on January 17, 2014. Application deadline is February 21, 2014.  Online Application

Saturday Academy's ASE program matches high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors with scientists for an 8-week summer apprenticeship, getting students involved in real science in a professional, scientific environment.

Our ASE interns work in CMOP's labs and facilities from late June to August, supervised by our resident scientists and graduate students. Interns become part of the teams driving our groundbreaking research, providing exceptional experience with how science is done. By the end of the summer, interns develop presentations highlighting the data they generated during their tenure. Past interns have been invited to present their data at conferences, and a few have even had their work included in published scientific papers! Get involved!
