week four..

this week seemed to go by fast. early in the week i really started getting familiar with the dreamweaver and photoshop, enough to actually get some things started and pretty solid.

i felt like this week was definitely productive. we had our individual presentations this week which was interesting. nice to see what everyone is up to. also, i got all of my mentors in one room to present to them individually and to get some good feedback. indeed i did, and with roy being there helped me really think about the significance of my project. he set up some meetings for me to meet with some folks early next week to get more information on the database. this makes me feel much better about the support and recognition behind the whole project. to know that what you are doing is going to be a useful resource for others is a good feeling.

looking forward to a great fourth of July weekend and the meetings on Monday. i will be heading back home to my community of nixyaawii, which will be nice because i cant wait to see my family and friends, and the solitude of eastern Oregon and its simplicity.
