the end came so fast!

My 8 weeks have come to an end. It seems like it went by so fast! I got really busy, sorry for no weekly updates.
Towards the end I worked a lot in MatLab comparing how different salinity levels can affect diatoms (using a previous study from J.Needoba)
The over all conclusion:
-Salinity affects growth of diatom
-CDOM release increased as salt water was added to fresh water phytoplankton
-However, No effect on July Salinity experiment
[Different Seasons, Different Location in the river, Different species (Salt-tolerant]

I will attach my PowerPoint that I presented at the ASE Symposium

Tawnya and Joe have offered for me to come back during school and look at the different salt tolerance on other species of diatoms.

This was such a great opportunity.
Thank you:
-My Mentors Tawnya Peterson, Joe Needoba, and Karen Watanabe
-K-12 Director Karen Wegner
-CMOP (I am grateful for all the kind people who surrounded me)
-ASE

Thank you!!

I got pretty busy, sorry for no updates.
