Week 10

Well, I think it is safe to say I'm not a blogger. Out of 10 weeks I've blogged for about half of them. Sorry, Vanessa. You can read about what I've been up to in my final report though (which I am about to send in). :)

This week has been really busy, trying to get my paper written, working on my presentation, but I think everything turned out all right. I'm a lot more disappointed that I have to go than I thought I would be. I'm surprised that I had so much fun this summer and that I learned as much as I did. My mentors were amazing and everyone in my lab was willing to answer questions and help me out as much as they could. I also appreciate the amount of responsibility and independence I was given as well. It was thrilling to come up with new ideas to meet challenges and I hope I get the opportunity to do that again really soon.

I'm planning on staying in contact with the lab and reading any papers they put out. I sort of feel that I've contributed to the research a little bit and now I'm interested to see where it goes.
