CMOP Research Presented at Ocean Sciences Meeting

OSM 2014CMOP scientists presented their research findings at the biennial Ocean Sciences Meeting at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu on February 23-28, 2014.

The meeting is the largest international assembly of scientists, engineers, students, educators and policy makers, who gather to share and discuss new scientific findings, research applications, education, and policy about the oceans. Approximately 5,000 people attended the meeting this year.

The six-day convention addressed important marine science issues through 141 scientific, educational, and policy sessions covering topics as wide-­ranging as human-­marine environment interactions, climate change, ocean acidification, renewable energy, sea level rise, ocean pollution, and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident.
