About Me

I am a multimedia professional that provides web, marketing, and communication support to CMOP. You may be wondering, what exactly does that mean? Let me tell you. I write feature articles, people profiles, press releases, web copy, and blogs; photograph and videotape scientific processes, events, and interviews; design and coordinate marketing campaigns; maintain and grow CMOP's online presence, enhance users web experience, ensure consistent branding, perform search engine optimization, report on web traffic, and manage the day-to-day operations of the center's website using the Drupal Content Management System.

My responsibilities include writing feature articles and web copy, developing and implementing social media and email campaigns, and analyzing the success of the communication tools.

Prior to joining CMOP, I worked seven years for OHSU's Educational Communications department as a multimedia producer. I won several prestigious Telly Awards during this time. I was also the co-leader of the OGI School's Web Project. Working with ISITE Design and the OGI web team, we restructured the information architecture, built a database driven web component, and redesigned the entire school and departmental sites. I was responsible for budgeting, branding, coordination, development, and design of the schools multi-page website.
