Cascadia Subduction Zone fault system

The Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) extends from southern British Columbia to northern California. The length of the crosshatched area is the approximate length of the postulated fault rupture for a magnitude 8.8 earthquake on the Cascadia subduction zone.
