Ensō in Green (5/19/09)

Laying the dye ring
This morning we made another dye injection, which provided me an opportunity to get some great photos. As we slowly curved across the sea, our green tail formed a great circle in the water that must have looked quite odd to the albatrosses and fulmars overhead. The whole thing looked like a Christo piece, and made me wonder if the project could have been jointly funded by the NSF and the NEA. I like the title Ensō in Green.
