The waiting game: week eight

Week eight has been pretty slow I’ve had steady cell counting hours and my weekly culture transfers where done as usual, I haven’t had much data to put in but since we will be collecting Pam data from the part of the experiment we just set up I’ll have more Data to put in a few days. The other thing I did this week was make more media since we used up so much of it during our experiment, and acid wash all the bottles we used last week. We also worked on our time point every day we have managed to work out a pattern for us to work with so we can split the work and make it go much faster. The next step we are waiting on is for our cells to hit exponential growth so that we can do the ROS assays I hope that happens soon so that I can have some of that data in before the end of the summer but only time will tell so for now we have to wait and see how the cell growth rates progress. So that is pretty much it for week eight, hopefully next week I’ll have more results to work with.
