WEEK EIGHT - Reproduction and Rescale functions

The model is done! I added both the Reproduction and Rescale functions and can actually start doing some experiments next week. So that is pretty exciting. If I have enough time, I'd like to get some graphical output going that I could show at the final presentation (less than two weeks away, this summer has flown by!)

This weekend was super-packed with fun things. Friday night, Katie, Julia, and I went down to Pendarvis Farm to set up camp for the Pickathon, which is a local music festival. It was a really small festival but I really liked the way it was set up. I had a good time there. It was pretty cold the first two days, but on Sunday the sun finally came out.

We missed the daytime shows on Saturday, but for an awesome reason. Ethan was nice enough to pick us up at the festival to take us on a hike to Elliot Glacier on Mt. Hood. The hike was one of the coolest things I've ever done. I was definitely a little terrified at quick points during the hike, but only in a way that made it even better that I was challenging myself to do these new things. Huge thanks to Ethan for taking us out there and for giving me the chance to do something I might never have done otherwise! The trip really inspired me to get a little bit more into climbing, but Ethan already took me to an elevation higher than any mountain in the northeast... so I guess I'm going to have to settle for some less spectacular views, but I'm sure it will still be worth it.
