Third week of the Next Chapter in my Life

On Monday, I came in and worked with the OLM and the pictures I had got of the Soda Bay samples. Around twelve I met up with Wendy and looke at some other Soda Bay samples that I will take to the SEM *scanning electron microscope* Class. At one, Vanessa brought me to the Science and Health School for the SEM Class. At the class they taught me how to use the SEM, how it works, and they also talked about how they want to get this microscope in the high schools.

On Tuesday, I worked with he OLM some more and got more pictures to work with a different slide. At twelve, I went and had lunch with everyone to welcome the High School interns. Around one Jared and I went to the SEM class and they talked about teaching their high school students more about this. At three we both came back and went to our Lab meeting. Where there was a presentation of what they had been working on.

On Wednesday, I came in and worked with m pictures and got the second slide of the pictures done. Worked with those untill lunch. After lunch Jared and I went to the SEM class and got a couple pictures of hee Soda Bay samples.

On Thursday, Wendy got back and the three of us caught up and talked about what we got done while she was one. We also got to talk about our Yellowstone trip coming up. We did that until lunch. Then after lunch Jared and I went to the SEM class and got a few more pictures of the Soda Bay samples.

On Friday, I came in and showed Wendy all of the pictures we got with the SEM. She wants us to get more pictures next week. After that we talked some more about our Yellowstone trip. At around eleven we came back to the lab and finished up getting ready a sample we want to ship out to get it on a slide. At twelve we attended the brown bag seminar with Elizabeth Furse as the speaker. After we had lunch we got our sample out in the mail and i looked up SEM carbonate pictures on google.
