Home, Is Where You Come From

Home, Is What You're Looking For...

We are currently at CR-15 doing a second cast.  It is ~1430 LT and we are hoping to be in the estuary looking for a rendevous with Lydie at ~1800.  We will be picking her up via RHIB from the boat ramp near the Rogue Brewery.  I hope tempatation hasn't gotten the handle on her by then.

Once onboard, we will head to NC11 and anchor.  Beginning tomorrow morning (Sunday, August 1), we will set up for the two days of M. rubra monitoring and REMUS missions.  Our intention is to pick up anchor by the evening of August 2 and make a port call in Astoria.  The location where the Wecoma will be moored will ~ the same as where we did our Leg1 - Leg2 swap on the May CMOP cruise (Pier 2, east side).  Those on Leg1 will sleep on the ship while docked for the night.  Those boarding for Leg2 will come onboard formally the next morning.  We are hoping to commence unloading / loading at 0700 and hope to depart for our RM17 outwash study by ~1400.

Other than that, all is finally well that ends well...knock on wood.
