Code for Days: A CMOP Experience

07/14/2015 Day 26

So I’ve emailed Sarah, a data quality control specialist, who works with the cmop data. Hopefully she will give me an answer about if the Pychoerythrin data is corrected by turbidity. Also on a more fun note. My roommate and I helped Dr. Peterson run some tests on a sample taken from a toxic algae bloom in the Willamette River. We are running a chlorophyll test and a nutrients test. I don’t understand the process too much or what we are looking for, but it was fun doing lab things and running experiments. Our chlorophyll test will extend over to tomorrow because the samples need to freeze overnight.
